Welcome to Dr Erfert's college.

Dr Erfert is the principal character in the novel "The Emperor of Education Has No Clothes" by Dr John Cosgrove - published by Chipmunka Publishing 2006.

"The Emperor of Education Has No Clothes", centres around the antics of the eccentric Dr Erfert, who has based his career on being able to concoct mystifying educational theories, which no-one is willing to denounce, for fear of seeming stupid.

The one person who tries, is beaten by the system and is forced to admit defeat, so the emperor is still 'clothed'!

It is a humorous account, based on the author's 45 year's experience as teacher, lecturer, inspector, governor, consultant and member of an education authority. Underneath the funny antics of the Principal is the serious question about whether Dr Erfert is mad or whether the society which tolerates him and promotes him is itself mad.
